Stamp a Stack #2

This is another super simple card for my SAS. I used the new Kiwi Kiss and Real Red for the colors. The wreath is made with the snowflake stamps from Snow Swirled and Season of Friendship. The bow is just a simple knot on a glue dot.

I hope you like it

Stamp a Stack

I just love the new in color Pacific Point!

I used this lay out a few times before and it works so well with these colors.

I am using this card as one of my first ever stamp a stack cards. Keeping these cards simple is really hard! I kept thinking of ways to add some sparkle but had to remind myself not to do that!

I will post some more cards as I get them completed.

MARBLING

This is another card from our club that my upline made. We used an empty stamp box and put a few drops of reinker in and rolled around a couple of marbles in it and then we taped a piece of whisper white cardstock to the top of the lid, flipped the box over and rolled the marbles around on it until there is as much color as you like. We used tangerine tango and basic black on the one with the cat and kiwi kiss and tangerine tango on the pumpkin one. Love it!!!

Magic Snowflake

You have to try this!! This is so simple and makes such an impression! This technique is called magic snowflake (on splitcoast stampers website) and it really needs to be seen in person to get the whole visual effect.

To make this you will need glossy white paper, reinkers (whichever colors you like), rubbing alcohol, and cotton balls.

All you do is get some rubbing alcohol on the cotton ball and put two drops of each reinker on the cotton. It works best with a light and a dark color. I used chocolate chip and riding hood red. And then just bounce the cotton ball on the glossy paper and that is pretty much it.

This is really pretty with shades of blue, also.

Try it, you'll like it!!!!
I forgot to mention that I embossed the Wow Flowers before I used the cotton ball. Sorry!!!

Snow Swirled

Isn't this beautiful? My upline , Danita, made this one also for our club. She used transparency sheets for the card base and we embossed the tree from Snow Swirled with silver embossing powder. We stamped the snowflakes with the white staz on and wrapped the silver cording at the fold.

I will definitely be making more of these for my Christmas cards.

My upline and club partner in crime, Danita, made this scrapbook page at our November club meeting. I love the colors she used, they should be good for pictures of the kids playing in the snow or building a snowman.

GOBBLE GOBBLE

Isn't he cute? I made this guy with punches and the stamp set Pick a Petal. This would be a great card to wish some one a Happy Thanksgiving. Or you could put a name in the slot punch card for a place card at the Thanksgiving table.

I think this is my favorite stamp set from the Holiday Mini catalog. I have used it for Holiday cards, Fall cards and I will probably use it for Spring cards. If you are interested in getting a Holiday Mini before this is gone just email me and I will get you one.

Pun Fun

This set has to be one of my favorites! I love this little hippo and that rest of the Pun Fun set is so great to use with kids of all ages. I used Real Red and Basic Grey. I hope you like it.

Just Fluttering By

I made this card for my stamp club a while back and they really liked it. The butterfly is from the Garden Whimsy stamp set and is stamped on the cardstock and then stamped again on a scratch piece of cards stock and cut out and layered on top of the first one so it looks like it is fluttering it's wings.

The colors are Always Artichoke and Cameo Coral with the Whisper White on the top. I rolled the So Swirly under before I layered the other cardstock.

This is another that I created for my husband to take to the office, I hope you "Enjoy" (sorry, I couldn't resist)

These are some cards I am making for my husband to take to work. His office usually gives out store bought cards for birthday and other events, so I thought I would make up some samples of cards that they could use to add that nice personal touch for them to give out. I know I would love to get a handmade card over a store bought one!!
